This month it’s time for some Full Moon magic working with the sign of Aquarius on Sunday.  This is also the second of three Supermoons, which I talked a bit about with last month’s full moon magic.

This month the moon will be in Aquarius which is a great time for letting go, transition, creative expression and problem solving.

For this month’s moon magic ritual I wanted to focus on a combination of letting go and problem solving but with a little bit of a twist.

One of the biggest hurdles we sometimes face with problem solving is confusion.  We don’t know really which option of outcomes or actions is the best and we eventually start to get our head all knotted up with conflicting thoughts.  If we could just be in a place of clarity we could make better decisions and see more easily which path would be best.

This month’s practical ritual is all about clearing away the confusion around the problem so you can more easily gain clarity and find the best path to take.

You’ll Need:

If you’re using incense go ahead and light it.

Take a few deep breaths and being to get focused, grounded and centered.  While doing this you’re creating sacred space and separating yourself from the chaos of the day.  This is an important step, don’t gloss over it.

Rub a few drops of oil into your candle.  As you do this visualize in your mind the problem you need to solve.  If you know where you need clarity you can silently {or out loud} declare where you need guidance.  If you don’t know where clarity is needed and you simply know you have a situation to work out that you can’t see the next step for, declare a desire to gain that clarity.

Place the candle in the holder.   Take your four crystals and place them in a circle around the base of the candle.  Make sure the crystal at the front of the candle is a quartz crystal.

Light your candle.  Think about the situation, question or other problem you need to solve.  Say:

On this night of the fullest moon
I ask the Divine to grant this boon.
Help me find clarity with
_________________________________________
so I can make the best choice
and solve this problem
while staying true to my own voice.

Use the pen and paper to write down the thing that you need help with.  Fold the paper and hold it to your heart.  Say:

I ask that all the choices that are currently available to me
that are not truly in my highest and best
be made obvious to me and cleared from my path.
May the best choices be shown to me.
I am full open to receiving the guidance of the Universe.
And so it is.

Dab a little oil on the corners of the paper and then place it under the clear quartz that is in front of the candle.

Allow the candle to burn down.  If you can’t, snuff it {don’t blow it out} and you can finish burning it down the next day.

When the candle has burned down gather up the stones and paper and wrap them in a cloth or put them in a charm bag and keep them on your altar, workspace or other safe space until the solution to your problem is received.

You may also want to carry the bag with you, or if the problem is related to something like a problem at work you may want to keep the bag in your desk.
