Knight of  Pentacles

The Knight of Pentacles comes into your month to remind you that the best efforts pay off over time, and sometimes we have to just have faith and stay the course in what we’re doing. The Court of Pentacles are grounded in their actions, so the usually very active and quick Knight takes a twist here. The energy is daring but grounding and patient. Think in terms of long-term projects and goals and investments in yourself this month.

This is a time to work at developing skills that will specifically help you out in either your current career or ones that will help you move into a career you want to move into.

This month it’s time to get organized and really get to work on those 2022 goals that you had in mind at the start of January. The Queen of Swords is ambitious. She knows what she wants and knows how to get it. But when she starts going after whatever it is, nothing will stand in her way. She makes up her mind, and that determination manifests whatever she goes after. This is what you need to be this month. But just remember, if things aren’t going how you want, it’s in your hands to change it.

Eight of Swords

February could be a month that tests your patience a bit. When you start to feel like you CAN’T get out of something, ask yourself if that’s truly the case or are just unwilling to do the difficult work to walk away. You might start to feel like a situation that felt right before suddenly has you feeling trapped, stuck, and in a position where you can’t easily walk away. But the thing is, you willingly got into this spot, and you CAN willingly get out. You just have to see it that way and then take action.

Queen of Cups

This queen is all about using her intuition to guide her and finding ways to live from a place where her heart is the guiding force. Have you been allowing yourself to be heart-led, or have you felt like you have to do everything from a place of practical, logical, overanalyzed reason? This month focuses on compassion and love, for yourself and others, and forgiving. You may start to see where you have been too hard on yourself in recent months, but don’t be hard on yourself again, be forgiving.

This is not a time to try and take others down to make yourself feel better, either. It’s time to take responsibility for yourself and your actions, let go of any victim mentality, and resolve to change things for good.

Whatever that may be, indulge in it this month. Use it as a source of the energy that you need to heal right now.

Young (at heart) and ambitious and curious, the Page of Swords is a reminder that while you may be well versed and skilled in something, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t more for you to learn. If you feel like, “Yeah, I know everything I need to know here, I’m good,” think again. The second you think you’re an expert in something and that there’s nothing left to learn is the moment you need to seek out more info and up your game. Consider making February a time to take a course, a workshop, or simply read some books to improve your professional or creative skills.

This month you might find that a casual invite to some kind of get-together results in meeting someone that will be instrumental for the year. This could possibly be someone you get into a creative project with, who is open to allowing you to express and explore your emotions. We all have parts of our inner being that need some love and attention, but we’re afraid to look at them. With this month’s gentle energies, now is the time to work with dreams and intuition to find what in your Shadow needs healing.

What goes up must come down, and vice versa! In January, expect to see things turn in February if you have been on one side of the wheel. This wouldn’t be a bad thing if you had an up January! Don’t instantly let your mind go to thinking that February will be bad. It could just be less active. These “low” months are the ebbs to our flows and are just as important. Chill out; look for where you can use this as a time for preparing for the next cycle so that when you feel that energy shift, you’re ready to go after something with gusto.
