Messages From Spirit {April 1 to April 7}

Happy April everyone!  This week we’re once again looking at the week ahead using the Gateway Oracle from Denise Linn.  Now that it’s April and we’re starting to feel the embrace of spring; Easter was yesterday, today is baseball opening day {Go Red Sox!}, and here in my part of San Diego we have cloudy rainy day spring skies.  It’s a new month and a chance to start things fresh and the cards for this week’s Messages From Spirit definitely support that notice.  Let’s embrace it!

Starting the week off we have one of my favorite cards in this deck, [fontpress type=”webfonts” name=”Cabin” size=”18px” lh=”18px” color=”#00540D”]Planting Seeds[/fontpress].  It’s a new month, a new season, and truly a time for planting seeds.  My angels are asking for us to really be open and willing for Spirit to plant seeds for us right now.  It’s a time for the planting of what I like to call “soul seeds”, those spiritual seeds that are going to take time to bloom fully but that are so important in order for us to grow.  Pay attention to small little inner messages or anything that seems to really grab your attention this week and feels like it might be a sign from spirit.

This isn’t to say you can’t take an active role in planting some seeds right now!  What do you want to manifest in the next month?  What do you want to grow throughout April?  Sit down and have a little brainstorm session with yourself.  Set a timer for 10 minutes and write down anything and everything that comes to mind…anything you want to create, do, places you want to go, people you want to meet.  When the 10 minutes is up pick 5 things from your list that you can actively start planting real seeds for this week.  If it’s a person you want to meet and work with plan to make phone calls or send emails to get in touch.  If it’s a project you want to start or something you want to create, then plan at least one or two actions you can take this week to get started.  This is planting seeds!  Just picking your 5 things for the month is a seed planting technique because it gets these ideas planted in your mind!

Next at mid-week we see [fontpress type=”webfonts” name=”Cabin” size=”18px” lh=”18px” color=”#00540D”]Giving Birth[/fontpress].  This is the card that shows us that it’s time to start actually creating.  It’s so easy to get trapped in the planting stage.  Many people get wrapped up in the idea of planning and right timing that we miss our opportunities to really do what we want in the world.  There is a time to be wrapped in the protective cocoon of safety but we have to eventually burst forth and spread our wings in order to fly and reach our dreams.

Here’s the ever so important thing about planting seeds and creating our dreams…

You can plant seeds and pray or meditate with Spirit on them, help feed them spiritually or magically and grow them, but when it comes time to harvest them and get their full potential out into the world, that’s all on you! So by mid-week be sure you’re at a point where you’re taking some action.

As the week wraps up we come to [fontpress type=”webfonts” name=”Cabin” size=”18px” lh=”18px” color=”#00540D”]Emerging into Grace[/fontpress].  Grace can mean a few different things depending on how you’re using the word.  When we think of someone having grace we are talking about a person who is very pleasant, charming, and who has the ability to make people feel comfortable and special.  But here we’re talking about the state of grace, that special place where we are embraced in the glow and love of the Divine and where we are guided by the hand of God.

When we come toward the end of the week it will be time to put some of our path of emergence in the hand of the Divine.  We often hear phrases like “Let Go. Let God.” and we don’t always know what that really means.  A lot of time people think of it as being like an excuse to basically sing “Jesus Take The Wheel” and then give up.  But that isn’t what this is about, it’s about letting the Divine guide us and seeing where Spirit wants to take us and being open to that direction.  It doesn’t means doing nothing, sitting back sipping some tea and waiting for things to fall in your lap.  Nor does it mean giving up control of what you want and then cursing God later when things don’t go as planned.  Again, remember…

Emerging into grace is about saying “Yes, God/Goddess/Universe, I need your help.  I need your guidance.  Now guide me.”  Be open and grateful or what comes your way.

So to sum up the week, it’s time to spring into action {pun intended} and get some stuff going.  Plant the hell out of those seeds and do the work to make at least 5 of them manifest into something real in your life by the end of the month.

    I LOVE YOU! what an insightful post. I had planned a handful of magickal projects during last week's message from spirit. Your guidance seemed to hit my needs right on point… things didn't happen as planned.. but I guess there was a bigger reason for that. As I updated my planner with moon voids and what not I realized that the most optimal time for what I want to do is coming up this month.

    I'm taking your advice and choosing 5 seeds I'd like to plan this week/month…

    I'm working on manifesting abundance for my family and loved ones. Peace and loving relationships, as well as protection from any negativity coming our way.
    I've been working on my garden and have LITERALLY hundreds of seeds to plant. so in this sense, I think the message is a bit more literal for me.

    One of the things I've been wanting to do is schedule the chakra healing session… Every week I tell myself I'll email you to set it up, and every week I fail.
    I feel, with how things are going and with this week's message I should make that happen. How's your schedule Jess? I think it will benefit me since I'm working on healing/perfect health. The Perfect Health challenge was definitely my inspiration.

    I looove how honest you are. Only "YOU CAN MAKE SHIT HAPPEN"…

    AAAND I laughed out loud when I read the "let go & let god" analogy lol Jesus take the wheel is ironically one of my favorite songs 😛 I like the message… it reminds me that sometimes there's a bigger picture, a bigger plan. That's one thing I've come to trust, when dealing with difficult situations my connection with spirit helps me understand the situations and heal…

    Great post Jess!
