I hope everyone had a great full moon last night! It was funny how for a full moon in Virgo, when relentless planning tends to be the flow of energy, I managed to not at all follow through with my plan for a full moon blog post. Largely I blame the unraveling that is happening after having done the Foundational Rites of the Munay-Ki at the end of last week. I’m spending the next two weeks until the new moon working with Sachamama, the Mother serpent, the seed in the root. Shed and uncoil that which is dead and give rise to the power within. I’ll share more about the Munay-Ki in the weeks to come along with my personal reasons for doing it, how it’s affected me and so on. But for now we have an oracle reading to check in with!
There’s a Storm a Blowin’ Up a Whopper
It’s a Journey not a Race
Embrace Your Power
This week there could be some storms heading your way, especially if you’ve been moving too fast with something . When the winds in our lives start to kick up and they don’t slow down they can blow us in all kinds of directions that we don’t anticipate. If you had slowed down for a little bit and reigned our own energy in we would have a better idea of what’s going on and likely be able to anticipate the issues sooner. This is actually going to be pretty crucial this week if you want to get anything done because when we move into the second card, It’s a Journey not a Race, you have to consider that it’s pretty impossible to launch a hot air balloon and safely fly it to it’s destination in a massive whopper of a storm!
You’re moving too fast and it’s this card is a reminder that you’re going to miss out on some of the best parts of the journey by trying to get there too fast. Instead this week it’s time to find where you can slow down and put the breaks on just a little, just enough to be able to savor the adventure.
When we start to move into the last card, Embrace Your Power, we start to get another sense of why this slowing needs to happen. The faster you move and the more you try to do at once, the energy and power you let go of without realizing it. Embrace your power this week and see the value in holding on to it and not letting it scatter to the winds without intention.
Another thing that my guides are suggesting with this one is that for some people it’s also a matter of allowing yourself to be seen as powerful and being able to embrace it so that you don’t get caught up in the storms and races of other people around you. Stand firm this week by slowing down and standing your ground.
