Let's just get this straight. There is only ONE WAY to practice the Craft. YOUR WAY. Whether that means you choose to follow a specific tradition of magick and spirituality, or if you choose to be a wild spiritual eclectic, the only way that is right is the one that speaks to you, lights up your soul, and manifests the life you desire. There is no "one size fits all" but we can at the very least respect that everyone has the right to try on different ways until they find the one that fits them. And then allow them to wear it loud and proud. So if you find yourself being told you're "wrong", you're not. Card 1 - Ace of Swords
When you go in and grab the sword and vow to make things happen things can happen fast. But the Ace of Swords is a reminder that to get things moving you have to be willing to cut out what is no longer working. This week take time to find what you need to cut out but be careful! You want to make sure that the way you express yourself in the process isn't too pointed. Those words can be double-edged swords for sure.

Card 2 - Queen of Wands
This queen shows up for you this week to remind you that you have to be willing to use your power if you work hard to own that power. A lot us women talk about wanting to "take back our power" but once we do we don't do much with it because...be honest...sometimes it scares you to realize that power. So this week start with the power you have now and get used to actually USING it. Then you'll be ready to reclaim more of it.

Card 3 - Knight of Cups
Spend time this week exploring ways to follow your passion. This isn't about FINDING your passion, you know what that is. This is about actually DOING something about it. You might be feeling like there's nothing you can do...you don't have the time, money, resources or support. But is that true or is that a story you're telling yourself? Don't wait for a "knight in shining armor" to come along and do it for you, be your own knight this week. Polish up that armor and get out there and fight for what matters to you and take steps follow those passions that mean something.

Card 4 - Eight of Pentacles
Practice makes perfect, but "perfect" is something we have to practice to understand. There needs to be a point where you find what "perfect" means to YOU, not what it means to other people. Then you need to allow yourself to follow that path. If you are constantly trying to live up to the level of perfect that other's have you're never going to be happy with what you do. Instead, practice your art until YOU feel it's perfect. If you're happy, that's what matters most.

It might seem kind of crazy to say "before the year is over" when it's only just started, but planning and knowing what you're going to do means you're going to do it. So what's your magickal goal for 2020?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For me it's all about getting back to basics and doing a lot of reconnecting to my beginnings. While I don't consider myself Wiccan and don't know that I will ever call myself Wiccan again, I am going back to those books and teachings to reconnect with the spiritual side of my magick. I've become so focused on the spellcraft and ritual work on a technical side and have lost touch with the spirituality of it. But, to be fair, I've also come to a point where I don't believe in a literal God and Goddess so I've struggled a bit with that. This is why I hope setting a goal of reconnecting with the spiritual side of witchcraft will be good for me.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you want your magick to work better, to work more quickly, and to align you more with what you truly want, you have to actually DO MAGICK! I will forever be amazed at what people expect from their magick when they only cast a few spells a year or consider themselves “dabblers” in witchcraft. When you want to cast spells that are going to be successful you have become good at working spells! Plain and simple...regardless of the way you work your spells. ✨🔮✨
