One of the biggest things that keep people from getting to know their guardian angel is the misconception that angels are a Christian concept. People who don’t follow the Christian faith feel like they can’t connect, or shouldn’t connect to the angels, including their guardian angel. Nothing could be further from the truth!
In 2007 when I made the conscious connection to my guardian angel and began cultivating that special relationship it completely transformed my spiritual, magical, and healing practice. It didn’t matter that I was a spiritual Pagan practicing magic and the healing arts, not following any sort of traditional religion. Your guardian angel doesn’t care about that at all because they existed long before Christianity or any other religion. I spent far too many years avoiding the angels because of this ignorant belief and I’m glad I finally let it go!
I related to Jess’s stories about not connecting to the angels because of her non-Christian spiritual and religious beliefs. I’ve been Pagan for many years and actually didn’t even believe in angels. I have always believed in things like faeries but angels seemed outside of my ability to connect with.
