Today I wanted to share a simple, quick, “anyone can do it” money spell. Which feels a little weird given my financial issues I’ve been having, but that may be the very reason this popped in my head today. Since I’m going to do this myself, I thought I would pass it on to you too!
This spell is a container spell, magick that you work within a bag, box, jar, or bottle (but anything you can put things into can be a container for magick). I like to do this spell with a small bottle, one that can sit on my deck or altar kind of inconspicuously and can easily be part of my daily life. It’s also nice when I can make it small enough to take with me if I’m going to be on the go. If I can slip it in my purse or a suitcase, all the better.
The specific purpose of the spell is to attract money while “capturing it,” or more specifically its energy, in the jar. You can take this spell and expand on it to add whatever ritual elements work for you. So cast a circle, call on spirits and gods, or make offerings, whatever works for you.
Money Manifesting Magnet
You’ll Need:
[list style=”style5″] [li]1 small jar, bottle, or another container that suits you[/li] [li]1 piece of paper money in whatever denomination you have available [/li] [li]Money Drawing oil (any a money attracting magickal blend) or Clove essential oil[/li] [li]Cinnamon (for general money attraction and good luck)[/li] [li]Five Finger Grass (aka Cinquefoil) (for bringing you opportunities for you to reach out and “grab money”)[/li] [li]High John the Conqueror root (for strength, power, and command as well as extreme luck)[/li] [li]1 Whole Bay Leaf [/li] [li]A Marker[/li] [li]1 Lodestone [/li] [li]Magnetic Sand[/li] [li]Gold Glitter [/li] [li]Gold or Green thread [/li] [li]A little of your hair or some nail clippings[/li] [li](Optional) 1 Green, Gold, or Yellow candle[/li] [li](Optional) Money Drawing, Clove, Cinnamon, or Dragon’s Blood incense[/li] [/list]
Before you start, make sure your container is physically clean, especially if you’re using a bottle or jar. Smudge it as well with either sage or rosemary.
Set everything up at your altar, doing any preliminary ritual steps you desire. If you’re using the candle, anoint it toward you in downward strokes with your oil. Light your candle and incense.
Sitting at your altar close your eyes and focus on your need to attract money. Why do you need money? Is it a specific purpose or are you looking to focus more on creating a consistent and steady flow of money in your life? Remember, flow means cash comes and goes, so don’t freak out when money leaves you. Trust that it will return tenfold and that the Universe will keep balance for you.
Place your hair or nail clippings in your container.
Use the marker to carefully write your name on the bay leaf. Anoint it with some of your money oil. Add it to your container.
Think about what each herb is intended for in this spell and how can help you. Take few pinches (or as much as you’d like) of each herb and one at a time and hold them between your hands. Blow on them gently and speak into them what help you need from them. For example, with the Five Finger Grass: I ask you to help open the doors to opportunity so I can bring more money into my life. Add each one to the container.
With your piece of paper money, use your oil to add a dab to each corner as well as in the center. Roll your piece of money into a scroll toward you, to symbolize drawing money to you. Use your thread to tie it up. Make 7 knots with the string. With each one say: “I attract money from all possible sources with ease and gratitude.” When you tie your 7th’s knot add the following to your statement “I ask for this with harm to none and for the good of all.” Place the money in the jar.
Carefully add your piece of lodestone and then sprinkle with Magnetic Sand and Gold Glitter. Add as much of both of these as you feel is right. Close up your container.
Hold your container, filling it with your intentions and positive vision for attracting money. Shake the bottle a little bit to blend everything around. This is also a way to kick up some energy for your money attraction too. Any time you want to get this mojo flowing, especially if you’re starting to feel that you’re getting into a negative money mindset, shake the bottle, visualize money coming to you quickly, and use any positive affirmations or statements that feel right for you when it comes to attracting money.
