So you may have noticed I’ve been pretty busy lately. Creating new stuff, making changes to the site, and overall going through some crazy “my head is kinda spinnin'” changes. If your head is spinning too, I’m not surprised. I’ve kind of taken a bunch of you on this ride with me, but I appreciate you for being there! So with all these changes I had some things that I’ve been doing lately that are now out in the world and I wanted to share them with you, just incase you’ve missed them.
So first, let me tell you about the bit of change to the look and feel of things here on the site, and consequently to my Facebook page and newsletter. You might be asking “what’s with the dreamcatchers?” There are a few reasons for them and why I’ve now taken them on as a logo.
Yes, I am actually part Native American. And not that “I’m a white chick who likes to claim I have a mystical grandma” kind of way. I am Passamaquoddy, a North American tribe that has stretched from the eastern and southeastern coast of Maine into New Brunswick, Canada. They were neighbors with another First Nations tribe from the northeast, the Maliseet people, and they have a shared language, the Passamaquoddy-Maliseet language, that is dying out as the tribal population thins out {especially with the elders who speak the language} though there has been a lot of work to try and preserve it and teach it as much as possible.
Anyway, yes, I’m actually Native American. My great-great grandmother on my Dad’s side, where this all comes from, turns out to be the last reservation-born member of the family. And if you were ever curious to know, when I was born my Dad gave me an Indian name…Little Eagle. The story he’s told me is that on the day I was born, after he left the hospital and went home as he was walking up to the house a large bird flew over his path to the house and that was to him the sign for me name. He laughs about it and says that it was highly unlikely that it was actually an eagle and was more likely a crow {which is my favorite bird} but in his mind he heard it as an eagle, and hence I was named.
So in part it’s a reminder for me of my heritage.
The other reason is it represents in many ways the things that I aim to do with my work and with the people that I work with one on one. The feather represent the idea of clearing, cleansing, and freedom. The dreamcatcher itself is all about filtering…filtering out the nightmares from the dreams. One of my favorite things to do in my coaching work is to help women find out what it is that they are tolerating {their nightmares} and learn how to let them go so they can make more room for their dreams. So in a way my work is like a metaphorical dreamcatcher!
You might also notice that “magic + metaphysics” is right up there, front and center. That’s right, the witch is back! Likely by now you’ve read all about my journey back to my spiritual home and how bringing back the new age and metaphysical wisdom of my year on sabbatical has transformed my way of looking at and working with witchcraft and magic. Now you’ll see those two blend more and more in what I do.
One thing you will NOT see me do is report and debate Pagan “news of the day” like I once did. Honestly I have little interest in floating around that world anymore. I’m content to just be me, doing what I do in my own little world if need be. I’ll possibly be seen as a fluffy flake by the Pagans and Witches and too dark and spooky for the new agers, but for those that actually GET IT, I’ll be a guide and a friend. And that’s all that matters to me.
OK, so, here’s what I’ve been working on and what’s happening these days.
Samhain is almost here!! I put together a Celebrating Samhain eKit that comes with an ebook and a guided meditation audio. The ebook is full of lore and history along with some magical recipes and a few of my own Samhain spells I’ve written and used that I think you’ll love!

I’ve also written a new ebook called By Bone and Wax, a book of spells and magic for working with skull candles. I LOVE using skull candles for influence spells. They are amazing tools and work, well, like magic! In this ebook I give you 13 “done for you” spells along with 23 recipes for incense, oils, and powders to use for your magic. I share with you my 6 step process for doing a skull candle spell that you can then use as a template to create spells of your own.

Also, Talk To Your Angels is back and starts it’s next session this coming Monday, October 28th. Now, I know what you’re probably saying. “Witchcraft and angels? WTF?” Yes, witches can, and DO, work with angels. Angels are NOT Christian despite what you may have been lead to believe. Talk To Your Angels is not just about angels though. In the Beginners Level we talk about all the angel basics but we also learn about how to boost our psychic ability, how to hone you most natural clairsense, and how to use it to do angel card readings {all techniques that can be extrapolated and used for any oracle system}. We also talk about how lifestyle affects psychic work and how to make reasonable changes to boost your work, we learn about how to deal with the ego and why it’s stopping you from doing your magical and spiritual work you want to do…then we tame it into submission with love and spiritual help.
And that’s JUST the Beginners Level! There’s an Advanced Level where we do energy healing, mediumship and manifestation work as well, and at the end of taking both levels you have the option to work toward becoming a Certified Angel Communication Practitioner! If you have a spiritual biz, or have been dreaming of starting one, it’s a great thing to invest in because certification let’s people know that you’ve put in the time, work, energy, and effort to learn and develop your abilities. {Certification is accredited!}
If you’re interested in Talk To Your Angels you need to sign up NOW! Enrollment ends on Friday! So come over and check that out.

The rest of the year may be a little more quiet. October has been busy busy! I think the Muses wanted me to get all of this out before Mercury Retrograde kicked in full force. 🙂
