For today’s post I’m sharing pictures of my Yule altar for this year. This is somewhat of a post with few words and I’m going to just let the pictures speak for themselves. You can certainly look back on yesterday’s post about correspondences for some other ideas or thoughts if you are looking for some ideas about how you can put together your altar for this year. With my altar you’ll see a lovely statue that I found a handful of years ago that depicts a pregnant, expectant mother. This has become one of my favorite altar statues for the Goddess at Yuletide. I actually debated quite heavily whether or not to place her in the far back and bring the center altar candle forward but ultimately decided to leave her in the center. You’ll also see my favorite altar bell. I found this at Target a handful of years ago in the Christmas clearance items and I have used it for Yule ever since. It is honestly one of my favorite altar items, and such a find! Never discount looking at department stores and “normal” shops during the holidays and seasonal celebrations for Witchy altar items. Sometimes you find wonderful things in the most unexpected places!
My Main Altar
My Meditation Altar
Normally I don’t decorate my meditation altar for the Sabbats, but I love this Yule Angel and didn’t want to use her on the main altar this year so I thought I would bring her out to my meditation altar where she seems quite at home.
