Today’s card says “I am Life Everlasting. I am an Eternal Being.” On the back…“You cannot die; you are everlasting life. In grace, you may choose to relax and allow your gentle transition back into your Nonphysical state of Pure, Positive Energy. (Your natural state is foreverness.)” This can be such a hard message to hear and a hard one to really accept. Well, in a way at least. We often say that we know we never truly die and that it’s all just a matter of transition. But when we’re dealing with either our own mortality or dealing with the death and transition of someone we love, it can be really hard to accept this knowledge.
I honestly can’t think of anything deep or witty to say about this card because I feel like this is one of those things that you just have to find a personal connection to and understanding of. It’s been something that I have personally been dealing with in a way since my Grandmother passed away last month. Knowing and understanding that needs to be something that comes from within.
So instead I’ll just leave it with this…
Remember that everything is energy. You, me, the floor, and the trees outside. Everything, when it comes to its end and it ‘s physical representation breaks down doesn’t mean that the energy that composed it goes away. Keep in mind the first law of thermodynamics which applies to all life and magickal work:
Energy can be neither created nor destroyed. It can only change forms.
When we remember that we are energy and we remember that energy only changes form, then we know that we’re just going to leave this plan and move on to the next phase of our journey.
Honestly, I think this is one of those things that really is just that simple.

This card comes at the perfect time for me. We just lost my grandfather, it was sudden and unexpected. It feels very unreal at the moment, but I know he’s with my grandmother and that they’re not that far away.
Thank you for this post. Bright Blessings.
