Today’s card is simple. “How Wonderful I am!” On the back…“We are wanting to awaken, within you, your memory of how wonderful you are! How good you are, and how worthy of whatever you are wanting you are.” One of the biggest hurdles with working with radiant soul stuff and with Law of Attraction energies is being accepting and OK with yourself first and foremost. We spend so much time not seeing ourselves as being worthy of having all we desire or worthy of living our dreams that we end up sabotaging our hard work and our thoughts. Sometimes that sabotage is a conscious thing but often it’s not. So we need to start by saying “I am worthy. I am wonderful.”
When we’re children there’s always someone telling us we’re wonderful and that we’re worthy. Sometimes it’s our parents, sometimes it’s a teacher, sometimes it’s another family member or a mentor of some sort. But when we’re little someone is often there trying to make us feel like we’re unique and special. And with that comes this feeling that we deserve to be seen and noticed as that special ray of light. Then as we get older that changes and we start to instead have people that try and talk us down and hold us back. It’s at this stage of the game where it’s on us to build ourselves up; we have to rely more on our own feelings of worthiness instead of expecting others to want to make us feel good about ourselves. If we were raised with those positive reinforces it’s a little easier to believe we are wonderful, we are worthy, we are loved. If we didn’t then this is a growth challenge that we have to address from on our own.
The best way to build up those feelings of being wonderfully worthy is to go with the “fake it til you make it” mentality. I say this a lot with the Law of Attraction stuff because it’s true. It takes time to feel these things and sometimes we have to just say it over and over and eventually we’ll start to believe it. It’s like with meditation. You might not be real good at meditating but you start listening to guided meditations to try to learn the process. At first we might not feel we’re really meditating and we might not notice a lot of effects from it but eventually it starts to help and we start to get with the program. It’s the same with things like this. As we repeat affirmations we start to change our energy and thought process and eventually we’re not just saying it, we’re living it.
